I-Heng Ting

Born in Tainan, Taiwan. I-Heng has a Master of Communications Management degree from Shih Hsin University, currently working as a freelance musician.

I-Heng is a three-time winner of the Taiwan Contemporary A Cappella Competition with the awards such as “First Place Gold Medal”, “Best Vocal Percussion”, “Best Arrangement”, “Best Jazz Performance”, “Best Chinese Song Performance”, “Best Stage Performance”, etc. He also won the silver medal in the pop category from the Vokal. Total International A Cappella Competition in 2018 and the first prize at the 6th Bali International Choral Festival in 2017 and other international awards such as gold medal and best stage performance at the 2015 Hong Kong International A Cappella Contest.

I-Heng’s recent work includes collaborations with well-known theater groups such as the Godot Theater Company and the If Kids Drama. He’s also involved in musical designs for The Octangle Male Choir where he composed and produced their album “Christ is Lord” and arranged songs for the A Cappella musical “Wa tu. Fang ta”. He was also the music arranger and singing coach for the play “Woyzeck” and composed the film scores for the animated feature film “Legend Of Sun Walker”. Last but not least, I-Heng also does recordings and song arranging for Taiwanese podcast shows.
